But can you cook, cook?

Let my Stomach Live

Maaaannnn,,,, let me tell you this, I don’t have a use for a woman who can’t cook food as directed. So, we grew up in the microwave era.  We grew up with foods that can go from frozen to finished in 2 minutes flat.  Without understanding that those foods were already cooked, it’s hard to understand why refrigerated meat takes longer to cook than the frozen nuggets we get from the same grocery store. If all you can do right now is microwave, it’s ok, by the end of this article, you will be a better cook, or you will know where to sit until the food is ready.

The oven should be preheated before the food is placed in it.

Why?

Because it’s the only thing that makes sense. So let’s think about the process of cooking in the oven, with any random item like….. a frozen pizza.  The instructions given may tell you to cook the pizza on 400º for 20 minutes. If you turn the oven on and immediately place the pizza in, you will have to wait for the oven to heat up before the recommended cooking can begin.  Since the pizza is already in the oven, the pizza will most likely be cold in the middle because its was not cooking at 400º the entire time.  It heated for 10 minutes, and then the pizza cooked for 10 minutes.  The pizza never received 20 minutes at 400º and will not taste the way you want it too.

Can I cook chicken the way I cook Tyson’s Chicken nuggets? The answer is No.

We are going to put raw, thawed chicken into a HEATED pot that is on the range. We are going to fry this bad boy If you throw raw frozen chicken into the oil as soon as you put it on the stove, it will float, and as the oil starts to heat it and cook, it will cook the outside, while still melting the frozen interior of the chicken.  The result can be chicken that looks amazing on the outside, but jumps when you bite into it. This can lead to illness and even death depending on what kind of bacteria is still in the flesh and blood of the chicken.

There is another very important issue on the stove, and that is temperature.  Stop cooking with the stove on high all of the time. The proper way to cook on the stove is to set the dial to a desired temperature, and then wait for the oil to reach that temperature.  The reason why is to control the cooking experience.  If you cook with the dial on high, you will quickly realize that food starts to burn or get hard too fast, and when you realize this you will turn the heat down.  Now you have to play the time game again, and wait for the temperature to lower, meaning food will still burn until it reaches the desired temperature.  Turn it too low and the food will not cook at all internally.

Point being this.  If you can’t take your time and cook the food the right way….. get the fuck out the kitchen, get the fuck off the grill. Go sit you lil dumb ass down at the square table with the kids. Uncooked food can ruin a good pair of pants, or worse.  Please don’t rush a good meal women, especially if you want to lure a man with food. You can’t apologize for food poisoning. If someone shared this article with you it’s because they love you and they don’t know how to tell you that it’s your fault the food is always messed up.  If you just happened to find this, I hope you got something from it.

No hard feelings, we listen and we don’t judge. 😂
